There are few things in life more precious than the feeling of your heart being captured. The joy that fills your body, from head to toe, as you feel your life grasping to include a wonderful person. One thing that does exceed it though, is when it grasps to include two wonderful people.
Over the past few months, I've grown closer to Kirsten than ever before. I fell in love with the sweet, little Kamdyn before meeting him, and am awed every time I even see a photo of him. So, you can imagine the excitement and pure bliss I encountered while I got to spend a whole morning holding, snuggling and photographing him. To top it all off, this all went down in the cutest of places - The Suites of Euston.
Winter hit hard over the holidays, going from +12 one day to snow and ice storms two days later was quite the shock - thankfully I love winter. There is nothing more beautiful than waking up to a fresh blanket of snow, hiking to frozen waterfalls or snowshoeing along untouched paths. The only thing that makes all of these moments more glorious is sharing them with wonderful people - people like Savannah and Matt.
While I was visiting the coolest friends in PEI, I also got the chance to sneak away to Victoria Park with these two for an adorable shoot. With a foot of height difference, a soul full of laughter and contagious love Savannah and Matt didn't take long stealing my heart. They were even patient enough to allow me to switch between digital and film cameras throughout our time. As we stroll through the park, finding the polar express and my favourite pond we chatted about life.
Getting to know Savannah better is always a treat, but hearing Matt talk about his interest in conservation efforts fuelled a fire I that had been dim in my heart for far too long. Thanks to Matt and his nature-loving-self, get ready for a re-kindled passion expressed through Kaleigh Betty Photography.
