Getting to shoot in-home is always a fantastic treat. It allows me to get to know people on a whole other level. Not just in what they tell me, but in what things they surround themselves with and find importance in. Getting to portray that person through the camera is so raw and beautiful. I love it.
Jessica is the perfect example. I thought I was getting to know her. Her likes, dislikes, humour. It wasn't until I walked into her little world that I realized that I had only ever seen the surface of everything. I couldn't be more happy to spend the afternoon surrounded by everything she is while chatting and laughing with this beautiful girl.
Well, it was back to the distressed house for me. After uploading Some pictures of Elizabeth (see last blog post) Kelsey immediately messaged me asking where this location was. So obviously, it was her turn to go! We hit up the dusty, whitewashed house with Kelsey rocking some denim.
Seriously can’t get enough of this house. Or the magic that can be created within its walls.
I've been blessed with this gal. The truest of friends - but more importantly, the most outgoing of models.
We've come a long way from awkward conversations, to knowing each other's souls. From awkwardly laughing our way through our first shoot together, to (still laughing but) not getting enough of our camera time.
I wanted to show her amazing self by letting her shine in the most bland of backdrops. Nothing but her as the focus. So take a look at this radiant goddess.
