The Nashwaak River: where to find Fredericton's best tubing, the perfect evening fishing spot, snails galore, the most beautiful sunsets, and home to The Homestead (wedding venue).
Hearing "we aren't very photogenic" is the last thing you'd expect while browsing through the following pictures. Trust me, Sarah and Ewen (despite their self-accessment) are far from. Or maybe they're just so in love that everything else just came naturally. Either way, they'll melt your heart. I can't wait for their wedding this September, at the beautiful Homestead. Fun Fact: halfway through this amazing session I took a tumble and landed back-first in the cool water. It all seemed to happen in slow-motion, with my only concern being to save the camera (don't worry, I did). I was soaked and it was hilarious.

On a rain-threatening day the CFB Curling club was transformed into the most beautiful place for Shauna and Mike to make their vows.
Donut tables. Twinkling lights. Brewery backdrops. Food trucks. Honestly, I was flying high off my job this day. When chatting with them prior to the wedding and discussing where they would like their photos taken, I casually mentioned the Good Robot. Knowing it was close to their venue, and knowing we wanted something a little different than the typical Public Garden location. I was thrilled when their eyes lit up immediately and they mentioned they even knew the owners. Well, that was that. I am thrilled that we settled on this location, because how much more cooler could a bride and groom be than pouring their own beers from tap at a local brewery? The entire day was beautiful, laid back and emotion-filled. Watching Mike not only promise to love and cherish Shauna, but also to her two kids was a definite tear-jerker. Take a look at some of the highlights from the day and celebrate the new bride and groom. Prep: Cambridge Suites Venue: CFB Curling Club Portraits: Good Robot Brewing Company |
