On the hottest day of the summer, at one of the most crowded beaches you can find in Nova Scotia, Kayla and Jordan still made the whole world their own. The morning entailed some very excited kids, makeup left anywhere it could be, colourful dresses hanging neatly side by side and a very beautiful bride prepping for a very big day. A small, intimate beach ceremony began their new lives as Mr and Mrs. Kayla and Jordan bravely made their way out to some rocks in order to capture some scenic portraits, and continued the night with beautiful reception. I had to hold back the tears as Kayla’s father proudly showed his adoration for his daughter over and over again. Jordan stole the scene with the look of love he held on his face each time he looked at his wife or the children they share. The day was the perfect mixture of beautiful emotion and trying to hold back bursts of laughter.

I was absolutely thrilled when Cathlia and David agreed to a paint war for their shoot - I mean how cool is that?! David got the first throw before chaos began. There was paint covered grass, paint in mouths, paint in hair, paint just about anywhere it could be and a whole lot of laughter. These two are always an unbelievable treat to work with, but I have to say this shoot was even more so.
