In the past year that Matt and I have called Halifax home we have met some wonderful people. Two of those people are amazing parents that shared a glimpse of their hospitality and life with us. Meeting the Rempel's has been a blessing in our newly married life, and of course the two littlest of the family have put countless smiles on our faces.
Meet the sweetest two beach babes you ever will see. These two little Rempel's are their own kind of tornado, with the kindest souls. As if the way they politely call me "Miss Kaleigh" wasn't enough to steal my heart, Addy making sure I knew she loved me and wanted me to come over to play sometime definitely had me sold.
I can't tell you how excited I am to be sharing these photos with you. This day had me so psyched. I am all about the intimate weddings, whether in size or execution so when Matt and Abby told me they would be having a backyard reception at Abby's parents' house I was so thrilled. Her mother had done such a beautiful job setting it up and decking out the place with lights, not to mention she even made the cake!
Second reason I was having trouble containing my excitement? Because the love these two share is so beautiful. You know how they always say "Find someone that makes you laugh," well, these two are the poster couple for that slogan.
The way Matt admires Abby, the way they interact, the things they hold in high regard (hint: “things” may be best replaced by “people”). They are so real. And that, my friends, is a treat to watch and an honour to celebrate and capture.
So, most importantly I want to give you all one very big piece of advice: find someone that makes your heart as happy as these two do for each other.

Sarah, Ewen and I all attended the same middle and high school. We roamed the same halls, sat in the same classrooms, and listened to the same teachers. I can still remember hearing through the halls that these two has started dating. I remember watching them walk hand-in-hand through the hallways for our entire high school career. That all seems so long ago, yet watching them on their wedding day brought it all back. These two are just as giddy for each other as their teen selves and it’s AMAZING. Ewen could barely look away from Sarah all day, which had my heart swelling so much.
This day was stunning (just take a look and see)! Sarah put so much work into all of the details and, I mean come on, how fantastic did they look?! The flower crown, the sweetheart wedding, the personal touches, the dapper suit. All so, SO perfect.
