Anna and Jeremy had a very specific request for their engagement session. They wanted the session to take place at Anna’s grandparents’ orchard while the apple trees were in blossom. Well, with apple blossoms being my absolute favourite (my own entire wedding was planned around them) that was a simple yes!
As I drove up I saw the orchard was in full bloom and set on the water side. I was greeted by many members of Anna’s family. But what I may have been most excited about what the fact that I was also greeted by a little pup!
We set out, with the sunlight treating us to a romantic show, to capture these beautiful images. To see the entire post be sure to click "read more".
I had the privilege of going to Elliot and Jenna’s home to meet their sweet little man, Harrison. Now before I go on about how amazing this family was (and trust me, they were) I first need to rave about how stunning their home was. Talk about magazine worthy. Elliot is the president of Bruno Builders Inc. His eye for style and detail is unreal (which can even be reflected in his amazing colour combo choices for the session’s wardrobe). Definitely go give them a follow https://www.instagram.com/brunobuilders/
Now, back to the family! Little Harrison was already a master of stealing hearts. Getting to watch this family dance around to their own rhythm of love was incredible. You can see Elliot and Jenna’s admiration for each other so easily, and their joy in their rainbow baby is captivating. I couldn’t have been more happy to act as a fly on the wall as they went about their normal bedtime routine with Harrison, and being invited to end the session by sitting down to join them for supper as their little man slept.
If you have these three in your life, you are already blessed beyond belief. Click the "read more" button to see more of the session.
Young family sessions are quickly becoming my favourite - and it’s no wonder when I am blessed with people like Ashley, Lee and Shea!
Shea had just turned one, so we were celebrating with a fun beach session. He spent the entire time laughing and squirming and giving life to the images we were creating. Easy to say, this smiley little guy was stealing my heart the entire time.
Ashley was more than willing to end the session off with some images with her sweet babe in the water, but I can’t tell you how happy I was when Lee surprised us all by rolling up his pants after a few images and joining his family. I love the entire session, but I can’t get over the raw emotion of the images of them in the sea.

I had been dreaming up this session for too long to remember, just waiting on the perfect person to approach me so that we could create the magic I was imagining. When Christy first reached out to me about a family session at her homestead, that would also include her horses, I knew it was fate. I spieled off my vision and was so pleased that she was on board.
Christy has been a long supporter and I can’t be more happy about how the images turned out, or who they featured. What makes me even more thrilled, though, is that her little Gryffy was stubborn enough to miss his bedtime to join in for a few images at the end. Couldn’t be more perfect.

Kayla and Joseph have made a life for themselves in Ontario, but we took advantage of their trip back to Fredericton to visit Joe’s family. Between wedding planning, torrential downpours and unexpected power-outages we managed to capture these beautiful images to celebrate their engagement!
Cafe Beaverbrook by Chess Piece gave us the perfect shelter from the last of the rain before we headed out to Fredericton’s classic landmark: The Walking Bridge.
There was only one thing that could’ve made this more of a rom-com evening for these two, so obviously the skies cleared and showed off with a beautiful sunset. Click "read more" to see the whole set!
Just three months prior of when Matt and I welcomed our baby boy, my beautiful cousin welcomed her own. Getting to capture her family in their home was a huge honour for me. Being mothers at the same time has giving us a closeness that I can’t imagine being matched in any other way. One thing that will never match, though, is how incredible her home always looks! Stop making the rest of us look so bad, Sarah 😂
Little Wesley is so full of giggles and joy that it’s impossible not to catch his good side. His big, furry, bro Mo is also such a camera hog. Perking right up the minute it raises to my face.
I can’t wait to watch this family (and our boys) grow!

Vanessa and Chris have built a life for themselves on the other side of the country, but knew they would say their "I do's" back on the east coast. They came back to the place it all began; the city where they met and. Since they were making the trip for the wedding itself we were limited on chances to capture their engagement. So just days shy of their wedding, we met up to capture it. I must say, the pre-wedding bliss (and maybe the sweet escape from the planning) radiated off of these two.
Chris surprised Vanessa by wearing a shirt with giraffes, her favourite animal. They wore matching, sentimental bracelets. All in all, they are just freaking adorable and their love is so apparent.

Christy and Taylor welcomed me into their absolutely beautiful home (like seriously stunning, I was doing my best not to drool) for the second time for their family session; if you want to see the first you can find my session with Christy and her sweet horse, Autumn, here:
They had just accepted an offer on their home and would be moving on to new adventures very shortly. I was ecstatic to be a part of documenting their last memories in their first family home.
While their yard is extremely stunning, the real star of the show was their son, Gryffy. I mean just look how adorable and full of joy he is! Obviously loving his horses while clicking his tongue at them and feeding them clover. It’s no this little man is so cute, considering the love Taylor and Christy so obviously share and spread. Completely perfect together.

Turning 2 is a big deal - and how else would you celebrate other than an entire cheesecake to yourself?
Arthur's mom and I were sitting one evening watching our kids play, planning Arthur's birthday session. We decided just what we wanted and agreed we would just have to wait for a beautiful sunset. We looked outside and realized that night was the night. We packed the kids up and rushed to her house to grab clothes, and to the store to grab a cake. We had less than 1.5 hours to make it all work.
I'm sure the kids were so confused by the flurry we were creating, but they saw the cake and that's all they needed to know.
I'm so glad we jumped when we did, because the night turned out perfectly!

So much work and love went into the details of Vanessa and Chris’ wedding but honestly, there could have been not a thing and the love between these two would have illuminated more than enough. Between the worship songs sung with full lungs, the dancing at all moments possible and the constant laughing of the wedding party and guests no one could deny how joyous of a day the wedding was. It was absolutely incredible to witness.
Everyone involved in the wedding had such great meaning to the couple. Vanessa’s dad catered the event (such an amazing thing in itself!), a family friend made the cake, another friend sang during the reception, Vanessa’s sister sang and played guitar for the first dance, and the list goes on and on. The support from family and friends was so inspiring. Even more inspiring, though, was the couple’s love of God and each other and how they made sure it was known in every aspect of the day.

P.S Curious about why Vanessa is holding two bags in one of her prep photos? It's because the wonderful Hampton Inn Fredericton were kind enough to think of Vanessa and Chris' guests on that hot day, and provide free facial wipes to keep everyone cool! How amazing is that?
