Tomorrow is going to be a very full day spent in the darkroom, catching up on the last of my prints for these two wonderful people. So, in anticipation I thought I would finally get around to doing a blog post. Keep in mind that I won't be sharing our adventures of the day, but rather my relationship to Rachel and Tom, since I foresee a second blog post (including film pictures) in the near future - but until then, I hope this can hold you over.
Huh.. Where to begin?
Well, Rachel and I have a unique kind of friendship. The type that can connect you, no matter how far apart you may be or how long it's been since you've seen each other last. It's jam packed full of inside jokes, fantastic memories and a whole lot of lifetime milestones together. Tom, on the other hand, I have "known" of most of my life but have never actually talking with or getting to know (shout out to my awkward/shy pre-teen self) until he and Rachel began dating. Let me say, I have never seen a couple complete each other as Rachel and Tom do. You can see (visually and emotionally), so simply, how their lives intertwine and how where one may struggle the other encourages and supports them. It's so amazing.
Their engagement came as no shock to me, but it did come with a tsunami of happiness. I mean, my best friend is getting married! To top it all off, we are getting married two freaking weeks apart, that's pretty exciting stuff! Plus, we are marrying two of the coolest guys around (sorry ladies).
