There’s really only one spot I can start this story at: Matt and I grew up as next-door neighbours and he has blessed me with a friendship that anyone would be lucky to know. Matt texted me recently asking if I was home, because he needed help with something. I assumed it was something photographic, so I let him know I was at work. Minutes later I was sent a picture of a ring. I screamed, and I mean SCREAMED, in the middle of my work, ran to the back and called him immediately. It wasn’t long before a scheme was created in which we’d capture his proposal to Kayla that night. After rushing home after work, I grabbed my camera and we were back out the door. It was raining all evening, and I was dreading the lack of sunset we were expecting. However, just as we got to the location the sky opened up and exploded with colour. It was amazing. Kayla was under the impression that I needed help testing out my equipment/a shot before a wedding I was shooting. Little did she know this was coming. Please enjoy the photos that will always hold an huge place in my heart.
Cool Fact: This location is now fenced off. Matt and Kayla's proposal must have been so great they decided they had to preserve the location. Just kidding, (well, not about it being fenced off) but how cool would that be?
