Winter hit hard over the holidays, going from +12 one day to snow and ice storms two days later was quite the shock - thankfully I love winter. There is nothing more beautiful than waking up to a fresh blanket of snow, hiking to frozen waterfalls or snowshoeing along untouched paths. The only thing that makes all of these moments more glorious is sharing them with wonderful people - people like Savannah and Matt.
While I was visiting the coolest friends in PEI, I also got the chance to sneak away to Victoria Park with these two for an adorable shoot. With a foot of height difference, a soul full of laughter and contagious love Savannah and Matt didn't take long stealing my heart. They were even patient enough to allow me to switch between digital and film cameras throughout our time. As we stroll through the park, finding the polar express and my favourite pond we chatted about life. Getting to know Savannah better is always a treat, but hearing Matt talk about his interest in conservation efforts fuelled a fire I that had been dim in my heart for far too long. Thanks to Matt and his nature-loving-self, get ready for a re-kindled passion expressed through Kaleigh Betty Photography.
