Laura and Josiah’s entire engagement session was a dream. We wandered the same grounds which they met on, work together on and even where he popped the question! I cannot express how happy it makes me when couples want to incorporate large pieces of their story/personalities into their engagement session.
On top of all of that, they included all of their fur-babies! And no - I don't just mean pups (although, they've got that, too!). I did not know how much I needed horses wearing flower collars in my life. Thankfully, Laura did! 🙌She even made the sweetest floral crown for Latte the calf.

I celebrate in the joy of so many people. Most of the time those people start as strangers but we leave as friends. Every once in a while, though, they start as old friends and my heart expands with pride and happiness for the ones I’ve watched and stood beside as they have grown into who they are.
Ben was a steady friend in a pretty fundamental time of my life. He cheered for Matt and I with every milestone we hit and as we overcame whatever was thrown our way. And now.. it’s my turn! I couldn’t even imagine a better match for Ben than Stephanie. These two are amazing together. I can't wait to watch these two grow together and build a life for themselves.
You may remember Meghan and Dan from their greenhouse maternity session - well here is that little babe they were patiently waiting on! Little Luca arrived just two days after the maternity session and I'm pretty sure has been smiley every second since.
He is such a happy little baby and the love that radiates off these three is amazing. Their home is so full of happiness.
I'll never get over the beauty of orchards in the spring. I'll continue to book as many session as possible under these magical apple trees. Which is exactly what I convinced Ashley and Lee into. While we were both visiting families in Fredericton, we snuck away from our toddlers to a local orchard to celebrate their engagement.
We walked through the trees telling stories of our toddlers, talking about their fast-approaching wedding and laughing over my complete awkwardness. Although I'm pretty thankful for that gift when it can create such adorable photographs.
Another engagement session in apple blossoms. I hope you're not sick of them yet, because I'll never get over these- they are the most romantic setting!
Tiffany and JM are so in love - it radiates so strongly off of them. Getting to see glimpses into their story and hear about the moments that brought them to their engagement was such a treat. I am so grateful when couples trust me and let me see into their lives. These two even trusted me so much that they took my lead in planning the session in my very own childhood backyard!
My Fredericton, New Brunswick apple blossoms mini sessions are by-far my most popular sessions of the entire year. Not only are apple blossoms my favourite flowers, but they also give such a magical backdrop to images - so, it isn't surprising at all that you all love them so much.
This year, with our provincial state-of-emergency's and closed borders, I won't be able to host these minis which breaks my heart. I've been reminiscing on these sessions for the past few weeks and wanted to share some of my favourite moments from last year.

Despite the Braxton hicks/back labour Meghan had been feeling all day, and the discomfort that accompanied them, Dan and Meghan were still laughing and eager to document the last few days before they welcomed their little boy. A rainy day tried to threaten our plans, but thankfully we knew this greenhouse would make the sweetest oasis.
Good thing we didn't let the rain stop our parade - because just two days later little Luca made his entrance into this world. Find his newborn session here.

It's no secret that winter is my favourite season. There's just something about the way ice glistens on coated trees, the way snow sparkles in the moonlight and blanketed evergreens. Finding brave people to pose in the cold? That's a whole other story.
Thankfully, Will and Vanessa were willing to take on that challenge. A spontaneous session, inspired by a fresh snowfall, outfits curated by combining our wardrobes and motivation to work fast in the chilly wind were the ingredients that created the winter session of my dreams!
Now I'm even more determined to convince others to freeze their buns for the sake of adorable photos.. Oops?

While visiting Alabama last spring, my beautiful friend was in the last weeks before welcoming her second baby boy. I had of course backed away a few of my dresses for her to choose from for her very own maternity session.
Christy's sweet little family and I ventured out into the fields of the farm where she boards her horse. We walked amongst the live oaks (which I'll never stop dreaming about) and captured the memories of the last few days as a family of three.
